KKCS is assisting Metro’s Program Management Department in managing and supporting the delivery of its large capital program valued at approximately $18 billion over the next 15 years. With a significant budget and aggressive implementation schedule for delivering Metro’s capital projects, KKCS provides close coordination and expertise across multiple disciplines in the following eight key functions: project control, estimating, program management, project management, project delivery and contract development/compliance support, configuration management, project management and other technical training, and Project Management Information System (PMIS) support.

KKCS is currently providing program management, contract management, cost estimating, scheduling, and contract administration services on various projects. Depending on Metro’s needs, KKCS is flexible and scales staff up or down to support capital improvement program endeavors.

There are three primary scopes, 1) staff augmentation including project managers, project controllers, alternative delivery experts, estimators, contract compliance officers, claims analysts, document controllers, risk managers, and contract administrators; 2) technical support for Metro’s PMIS hosting and enhancements; and 3) best management practices development, implementation, and training. Metro has benefitted with a ready resource from which to draw project management experts and through increased operational efficiencies to support its aggressive capital program.
